As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Drumkit, you will be the frontline ambassador for our innovative data platform in the transportation industry. You'll identify, engage, and qualify potential customers while building a robust sales pipeline that drives our growth. Working closely with our CEO, Head of Sales, and Head of Growth, you'll help expand Drumkit's market presence and contribute directly to our revenue goals.
Your role will center on understanding customer pain points in transportation data management and effectively communicating how Drumkit's solutions can address these challenges. You'll be the crucial first point of contact that sets the foundation for meaningful customer relationships.
We're a remote-friendly company with team members across the East Coast.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers across the logistics industry
- Qualify leads through discovery calls to understand their challenges and needs
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead generation strategies
- Represent Drumkit at industry conferences and events
- Contribute to content creation including case studies, outreach materials, and social media
- Document customer feedback and insights to inform product development
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly outreach and qualified opportunity targets
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of experience in sales development, preferably in SaaS or technology
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong research abilities to identify prospects and personalize outreach
- Demonstrated persistence and resilience in a goal-oriented environment
- Passion for understanding customer needs and building relationships
- Technical aptitude and ability to discuss complex solutions with confidence
